Swing @ the Roxbury – Saturday 5th Sept. Swing at the Roxbury is our twice monthly swing social. The DJ’s will keep you on the dance floor all night with a fabulous mix of dance tunes. Everyone is welcome, so come and join the fun. The Roxbury has a fabulous atmosphere and we always have a great mix of dancers from the most experienced in Sydney to raw beginners. Don’t forget that you can also get great food at the Bistro.

Mini Workshops from 7 – 9pm followed by social dancing till late.
Yes finally another beginner Balboa workshop,  we have had lots of requests so we have combined the workshops with a social dance as well.

Beginners Balboa  with Bruce and Kat
Start from scratch and learn your basics with a couple of extra moves thrown in for fun.

Intermediate Balboa with Sharon and Nathan
Build on your basics and gain some confidence for the social dance floor. You will need to know your basic, break turn and throwout to get the most from this class.

Workshop $25 – includes dance

SUNDAY 16th August is the next Beginners Rockabilly Dance Workshop
“Learn to Dance Rockabilly Style” Ever been in a pub or club listening to Rockabilly, Hillbilly, Country or Jump Blues music and seen couples doing a great cool dance style. Chances are they will be dancing Rockabilly to this type of music. The dance suits itself to so many music styles, so if you want to learn Rockabilly or get back into the dance, here is your chance on Sunday 16th August with a great Beginners Workshop. This workshop is designed for brand new beginners who would like to learn this very cool dance style.
