HAPPY NEW YEAR!

Hi everyone, we hope that you all had a fantastic break over the Christmas – New Year period. We’re all ready and rearing to go for 2007. All classes will start next week and we look forward to catching up with you as well as meeting the new students that will be joining us for the first time. If you have and friends or family that would like to start dancing, then bring them along next week!

We have lots of exciting things planned for 2007, with lots workshops and social events - so stay tuned!

We are very excited about our new Thursday night swing class in Bondi, classes will start next week with beginners only however if there is enough demand we will consider an intermediate class as well. It’s in a great location in the Market place close to Bondi Westfields (which Peta is very happy about). We will also be adding an intermediate level to our Ambervale Swing class, after a vote in class to see who would be interested in moving into intermediate we had a unanimous decision! Our newest Rock ‘n’ Roll class at Riverwood will be back again next week with the beginners class starting at 7pm, if your one of our intermediate students who would like to help out with this class we would love to see you there, it always makes a difference if we have some experienced dancers mixed in with our new beginners.


Over the break we were lucky enough to catch up with some of the dancers who have been missing in action from the dance scene over the last 12 months or so. Vic and Marie, who are living in Whistler Canada and Deen who is in New York City. We all went out dancing a couple of times in New York which was great, it was so much fun catching up and they were all eager to know what was happening with everyone “back home”. One thing that was for sure was that they all missed the social dancing at the Roxbury!
