We are still recovering from the whirlwind of last weekends Balboa workshop. It was a fabulous weekend and we were so lucky to have Sylvia and Marty to ourselves for two days. Thanks to all of you who came along and we were particularly happy with the number of “brand new” beginner Balboa dancers, we can’t wait to see everyone out on the floor practicing their Bal over the weekend. We have had lots of good feedback not only about the workshop but also the Saturday night dance. A big thank you is deserved for everyone who pulled together to make is a huge success particularly the DJ’s, Trish, Derek and Russell who really kept the dance floor buzzing all night. Everyone always pitches in and helps out during the night however we would like give a special thank you to Peta, Lasha and John who helped set up and Loosha, Blair and Trudi who stayed to the early hour of the morning cleaning the studio ready for our next day of workshop. Even if you aren’t brave enough to get up on the dance floor it is still lots of fun sitting and watching . The Roxbury has a fabulous atmosphere and we always have a great mix of dancers from the most experienced in Sydney to raw beginners. Don’t forget that you can also get great food at the Bistro.
